August 15, 2006 -- Under the agreement, Allied will distribute Panduit's entire line of cable and wiring products.
Allied Electronics, a subsidiary of Electrocomponents plc, has signed a distribution agreement with Panduit, a manufacturer of wiring and communications products. Under the agreement, Allied will distribute Panduit's entire line of products, greatly expanding Allied's current offering of wiring and cable accessories.
"Allied is excited to add Panduit to our growing list of world-class suppliers," comments Lee Davidson, president of Allied. "We are also pleased to offer our customers the complete Panduit product line featuring a wide range of products in stock and ready to ship."
Panduit's products are available on Allied's web site, and will be featured in Allied's 2007 catalog, which is due out in October 2007.
