July 24, 2007 -- Key Digital Systems, Inc. has introduced its Red Iguana HDMI cables. According to the company, the cables all comply with the HDMI 1.3 specification, and have the capacity to handle all video signals from standard definition 480i to full HD 1080p.

According to Key Digital, all Red Iguana HDMI cables feature: 24 Karat gold plated connectors for electrical connectivity and corrosion resistance; bandwidth of 5 Gbit/sec for glitch-free digital video signals; a VW-1 UL rating for passing the stringent UL flame test procedure; HDCP compliance; and an oxygen free copper coating with low-loss dielectric compound.
