November 5, 2007 -- Electronics distributor Newark announced that it is now offering Panduit's handheld thermal transfer label printers.

November 5, 2007 -- Electronics distributor Newark announced that it is now offering Panduit's new thermal transfer label printers.

Now available from the distributor, the PanTher LS8E model offers label cut-to-length functionality that eliminates label waste and label trimming labor, according to Panduit. A "partial cut" features provides tear-apart strips of labels for quick installation.

Also available, the Cougar LS9 model is billed as an affordable, durable option, with the flexibility to meet the demands of electrical and network users in harsh environments. It prints on a wide variety of continuous industrial label materials for wire/cable marketing, component labeling and safety/facility identification.
