The CAT5-4000 extension system connects three computers or high definition video devices using the DVI and VGA formats with accompanying audio. The first input is split and delivered to two displays in mirrored mode. The second and third inputs are delivered to their own display. The CAT5-4000 supports a total of three sources sent to four displays. Each display may be extended up to 195 feet (59m) from its computer or source over Cat 5 or Cat 6 cable using multiple receiver units, one per location. For installations using two mirrored displays in the front of the venue, and two in the back, the CAT5-4000 offers signal distribution, integration and extension capability in a convenient one-box solution.

The CAT6-1600HD extension system is intended for professionals working with computers placed in a rack location away from the workspace, such as edit bays and post-production environments, where they rely on quiet space for editing. Just one CAT-6a cable transmits video in the DVI format at resolutions up to 1920x1200 to 200 feet (60m), surpassing previous distance limitations by nearly 100 feet. Up to four hi-speed USB 2.0/1.0 peripherals can be extended to the same location using one Cat 5e cable. A four-port USB 2.0 hub is provided on the receiver unit, capable of driving keyboard/mouse, printers, scanners, cameras, hard drives and any device using USB to connect to the computer.

The CAT6-1600A extension system offers an analog version of the CAT6-1600HD for those professionals working with VGA displays. It supports the extension of one VGA display with USB 2.0 keyboard/mouse peripherals up to 300 feet (91m) in distance using one Cat 5 or Cat 6 cable for the display, keyboard and mouse. This upgraded extender ensures that video retains its clarity and the accompanying peripherals perform remotely with just as much speed as if connected locally.
