The HeatSeeker 160 thermal imaging camera from Ideal Industries serves a variety of purposes, including pinpointing overheating servers, uninterruptible power supplies, cooling systems and power distribution units inside data centers. The camera's features include a Class II laser and high-resolution thermal imaging, as well as a two-megapixel visual image.
The HeatSeeker 160 is fully radiometric, Ideal says, which means it will capture temperature measurements over the entire image. Four cursors can be moved anywhere on the screen and can be selected to identify the hottest and coldest temperatures in real time.
Additionally, images may be graphically displayed in adjustable blends of the actual photographic image and the thermal image from 100-percent thermal to 100-percent visual. The camera also features picture-in-picture technology that allows the display of a small area in IR, surrounded by the larger image in photographic mode. The camer will store up to 2,000 images on a removable 2-GB micro SD memory card. Included software provides the opportunity for analysis, report generation, email sharing and printing.
The HeatSeeker 160's suggested retail price is $5950.
