PEI-Genesis, Emerson Network Power sign Americas distribution agreement

The agreement gives the distributor the ability to help design engineers solve power challenges using power supplies from Emerson.

PEI-Genesis, Inc., an integrator of configurable and modified standard power supplies for data centers and industrial connectivity platforms, has announced an agreement with Emerson Network Power, in which PEI-Genesis will distribute and add value to power supply products from the Embedded Power business of Emerson Network Power for customers in North and South America.

The agreement gives the distributor the ability to help design engineers solve power challenges using power supplies from Emerson Network Power.

The PEI-Genesis team includes field application engineers, internal application engineers, design engineers, power engineers, and manufacturing engineers, trained to quickly meet exact application needs. The company says it has also created robust solution guides that make customer integration processes straightforward.

In a statement, PEI-Genesis emphasizes that it "has made its mark in the electronic components and power supply industry by bucking the trend of traditionally long lead times. The company says it "strives to reduce customers’ total acquisition cost and lead times, simplify assembly, and improve the quality and reliability of [engineer's] designs."
