Poster illustrates shielded-cabling test procedures

A poster available for free from Fluke Networks provides visual and textual detail on the procedures for testingshielded Category 5e, Category 6 and Category 6A twisted-pair cabling systems, including “permanent link, patch cord and channel certification testing methods,” the company says.

Fluke Network adds that the poster “includes an overview of when to use each test, and detailed diagrams illustrating the methodology and testers necessary to accurately perform certification.”

Individuals in the United States and Canada can order the poster by completing an online form. Those in other geographies may obtain the poster by contacting their local Fluke Networks sales representative. The poster is 24 inches (61 cm) wide by 36 inches (91 cm) tall.
