Live demonstrations of the DCIM platform will be available for viewing in Intel's booth #312 on December 3-4. Demonstration of Rackwise's DCiM X software will include visual displays of real-time power and thermal data across the data center floor, integration with capacity planning, failure analysis and reporting solutions.
Rackwise contends that its DCiM X tiered real-time monitoring architecture including the fully embedded Intel DCM real-time monitoring module allows data collection across multiple data centers, enabling more robust monitoring and management capabilities beyond other available point solutions currently limited to monitoring only data from within a single data center.
Rackwise says its latest product release also incorporates advanced discovery mapping features to quickly associate information technology (IT) equipment with the DCiM solution model. The company says the discovery interface provides IT management with a critical tool to build sustainable solutions for management of real-time data collection for data center operations, key to maintaining effectiveness of the overall capacity planning features of the DCiM model.
Mr. Guy A. Archbold, CEO, Rackwise, comments, “This latest product, with its tiered real-time monitoring architecture including the embedded Intel DCM, in combination with our advanced mapping and interface features and functionalities, delivers innovative capabilities allowing IT professionals to plan, manage, and control their data centers and computing infrastructures more efficiently and effectively."
