Corning, Anixter offer free fiber-optic training classes

Corning Cable Systems and Anixter have teamed to produce the See the Light fiber-optic training program.

Corning Cable Systems and Anixter have teamed to produce the "See the Light" fiber-optic training program, a series 3- to 4-hour training seminars taught by experts on a variety of topics, to be presented in cities throughout the United States.

Aimed equally at industry newcomers as well as veteran field installers, instructors and designers, the free seminars are essentially hands-on fiber-optic technology classes that allow students to work directly with equipment and materials ideal for installation, termination, troubleshooting,and system design. BICSI CEC credits additionally apply to students completing Corning's fiber-optic classes.
