Panduit unveils zone system for industrial networks

New system reduces network installation time by up to 75 percent, claims the company.
Panduit has launched a platform designed to reduce installation time and save operational costs in the deployment of manufacturing networks. The company's Integrated Network Zone System enables communications between control rooms and the manufacturing floors within industrial facilities.
Available in three configurations, the system includes an Allen-Bradley Stratix industrial switch for faster deployment and superior management and diagnostics capabilities. The switch is pre-assembled into a NEMA-rated 4/12 enclosure with structured cabling and cable management hardware integrated using proven design and installation best practices. The UL-certified system also includes Allen-Bradley uninterruptible power supplies installed behind a touch-safe protective cover.
According to Panduit, the Integrated Network Zone System offers an up to 75% reduction in deployment time; localizes network traffic to improve resiliency; is engineered, tested and validated for optimal performance; and enables safe access and protection from electrical shock for technicians.
