New England's DSCI, ColoSpace team to optimize 10G data center cloud services
ROCKLAND, Mass. & WALTHAM, Mass. -- Two powerhouses in New England’s data center cloud services industry have joined forces to enable a faster, more reliable cloud. ColoSpace Inc., a major provider in the region of outsourced data center and managed services, and DSCI Corporation, among the region’s largest hosted communications service providers, have entered into a new strategic alliance.
DSCI is providing its Metro Ethernet and Dedicated Internet Access services, delivered over DSCI’s carrier-class fiber network, for a new 10-Gigabit network backbone connecting ColoSpace’s data centers in Massachusetts and New Hampshire. In addition, ColoSpace is installing new Juniper equipment for switching and routing in its data centers. ColoSpace will continue to provide managed services for its customers, while DSCI manages the network backbone and underlying telecommunications carrier relationships.
