L-com has added seven new wireless active products from Planet Networking & Communications.

L-com announced that it has added seven new wireless active products from Planet Networking & Communications. The new devices cover user requirements for wireless bridging, range extending, and WLAN access.

Planet's WNAP-6305 wireless bridge offers high power outdoor wireless access, with 600 mW power through a 2.4 GHz 12dBi built-in antenna or through an optional add-on antenna. The WNAP-6306 adds more flexibility with a built-in N-type antenna connector for directly attaching to various types of antennas.

The WNAP-6350 and WNAP-7350 are, respectively, 2.4 GHz and 5 GHz outdoor access points featuring very high data rates and adjustable power outputs. The WNAP-C3220 is a stylish PoE wireless access point offering up to 300 Mbps 802.11n wireless speed, multiple operation modes and Gigabit LAN connectivity.

The WNAP-1260 is a wall plug universal WiFi repeater that can provide up to 300 Mbps wireless network sharing, while featuring a convenient, compact design for nearly any location. The WDRT-731U device intelligently breaks wireless signals between 5 GHz for watching HD videos or playing online games, and 2.4 GHz for surfing the Internet.

"Planet is very aggressive in offering new products and keeping ahead of the technology curve," comments Patrick Pesa, L-com's director of product development. "We will be evaluating these products as they become available and making them available to our customers."

The new Planet products join a range of wireless devices available from L-com from brands such as EnGenius, Ubiquiti, Linksys and Netgear.
