TIA applauds FCC call to improve wireless coverage via use of signal boosters

Use of signal boosters improves the reach of wireless networks for consumers, says TIA.

The Telecommunications Industry Association (TIA) has publicly voiced its support for the Federal Communications Commission’s (FCC) report and order on the use of signal boosters to improve wireless coverage for consumers.

TIA issued the following statement:

“The use of signal boosters improves the reach of wireless networks for consumers, and TIA applauds the Commission’s adoption today of its Report and Order. The Commission’s technical and operational rules will provide for enhanced coverage while guarding wireless networks from interference.”
