Berk-Tek Leviton Technologies will exhibit its latest cable and connectivity systems at the upcoming 2014 BICSI Winter Conference & Exposition in Orlando, Florida, from February 3-5. Located at booth #725, the Berk-Tek Leviton exhibit at the 2014 BICSI Winter show will feature several complete, end-to-end cabling system demonstrations, including the company's new CX6800 Category 6A UTP system and its premium High-Density Fiber System.

Product details, according to the company, are as follows:

CX6800 Category 6A UTP System: This Category 6A component-rated system delivers unparalleled 10G network performance and density, and is specifically tuned as an end-to-end system to optimally support 10GBase-T applications. The patented crosstalk prevention (XTP) technology in the LANmark-XTP cable assures excellent alien crosstalk (AXT) suppression with industry-leading channel margin guarantees. The LANmark-XTP cable requires no grounding and bonding, and the cable’s small diameter improves density, optimizing airflow and cooling in congested data center pathways and space-constrained conduits.

High-Density Fiber System: This premium fiber-optic cabling system combines Berk-Tek's Micro Data Center Plenum (MDP) cable with the Leviton Opt-X HD enclosure system. The solution reduces pathway fill, improves airflow and enables dramatically higher patching density in racks and cabinets for data centers and SAN installations.

Leviton Opt-X HD Enclosures: These provide up to 50 percent more density when used with MTP connectors, claims the company. Patented Berk-Tek MDP cabling, when combined with MTP connectors, can provide among the highest-density backbone connectivity available to the industry, reducing pathway fill by up to 50 percent.
