Upsite Technologies says its AisleLok system installs in minutes, can be easily reconfigured to new aisles, and provides significant airflow benefits.
Upsite Technologies Inc. announced that in late June it will begin selling its new data center aisle-containment system called AisleLok Modular Containment. “This modular solution was developed using the 20 years of Upsite’s airflow experience combined with select on-site deployment driving the product design,” the company said when it announced the system at Data Center World, where it exhibited AisleLok and held an information session on the system. “The solution installs in minutes, can be quickly and easily reconfigured to new aisles as the data center evolves, and provides immense airflow benefits through core aisle containment design,” Upsite continued.
The system’s main components are the Rack Top Baffle and BiDirectional Doors. A row-gap filler is optional. The Rack Top Baffle will be available in either a 30-degree angle (from horizontal) or a 90-degree angle (from horizontal) position. Both components attach directly to racks. “The open-sealing design ensures fire safety,” the company noted, “and its elegant appearance brings professional aesthetic to the facility.”
Peter Crook, Upsite Technologies’ chief executive officer, said, “Highly flexible and easy to install, AisleLok introduces a new generation of redeployable containment to the market. AisleLok Modular Containment offers data centers effective aisle containment and separation at an attractive price.”
