TE Connectivity (NYSE: TEL) has announced a new public safety distributed antenna system (DAS). Developed in collaboration with Fiber-Span, the code-compliant DAS platform supports primary public safety and critical first responder frequencies in the VHF/UHF/700/800/900/TETRA frequency bands on a single system.
The new DAS is designed to provide high-reliability coverage for public safety communications services for both in-building and outdoor applications.
