High-power linear RF amplifiers boost millimeter wave, telecom infrastructure signaling

These GaAs PHEMT MMIC-based amplifiers operate from 0.8 GHz to 9.5 GHz and can be used as high power output amplifiers or driver amplifiers depending upon the system architecture.

These amps also offer competitive gain flatness from ±0.5 dB to ±2 dB and excellent third order intercept levels (IP3) from 38.5 dBm to 47 dBm. The company’s linear RF amplifiers are offered in various frequency ranges with optimized performance over the pertinent range and are specially designed to ensure the robustness of the modules and ease of use through features such as mounting holes in the body of the aluminum enclosure which assures a more effective heat dissipation path.

The superior performance of Pasternack’s high power amplifiers is achieved through using GaAs PHEMP MMIC circuitry along with advanced hybrid integration techniques. The amplifiers are fully matched internally for input and output at 50 ohms which eliminates the customers’ need for any sensitive external RF tuning components.
