Wireless infrastructure expert Wilson Electronics / weBoost appoints new VP engineering

Michael Mouser joins the executive team for the provider of cellular signal boosters.

weBoost, a provider of cellular signal boosters, and its parent company, Wilson Electronics LLC, announced that Michael Mouser has joined the company as vice president of worldwide engineering, reporting to Robert Van Buskirk, Wilson's president and CEO.

“We are delighted to have attracted someone with the depth and breadth of experience as Michael to drive our product, IP and technology development, as we look to extend our product leadership in the cellular signal booster market,” commented Van Buskirk. “Along with his proven track record in pioneering and developing advanced consumer and commercial wireless communication products, Mike will be a key addition to our management team as we introduce innovative new signal boosters product solutions, expand globally by leveraging our exciting new weBoost consumer brand and accelerate the profitable growth of our business.”

Most recently, Mouser served as vice president of product development and technology for Navigation Solutions, Plano, Texas (a Hertz company). At Navigations Solutions he supported the CEO in technical, business strategy for the company including key partnership development and served as the chief architect/strategist for the connected car initiative to develop and expand the company’s product lines and ecosystems. Prior to Navigation Solutions, he served as the senior director of business development, IP technology and engineering at Mitac International, acquired Magellan, Inc., and served as vice president of engineering for consumer navigation outdoor/marine/vehicle navigation products and professional land/marine survey GPS products at Thales Navigation, USA.
