Accu-Tech offering free mass-termination tool with connector purchases

Accu-Tech recently announced a promotion through which it will give away a Siemon Turbo Tool—a mass-termination tool—to contractors who purchase certain 100-piece Siemon Max 6 outlet packs. The promotion runs until August 30. In promotional material for the campaign, Accu-Tech says it wants its contractor partners “to see firsthand how the innovative TurboTool can cut your Category 5e and 6 UTP termination times in half.

“The Siemon TurboTool is not only a great tool for termination, but it is also a durable and reliable piece of technology,” Accu-Tech continues. “This flexible tool is ergonomically designed to reduce hand fatigue and increase overall productivity. The user-friendly tool is manufactured with the contractor in mind—the steel construction ensures long-term use under the toughest conditions.”

Siemon recently published a related technical paper titled “Cabling Contractor Best Practice: The Impact of Termination Speed on Your Bottom Line.” That paper provides explanations and provides tabular examples of how faster termination time can equate to higher project profitability for contractors.
