Nexans again lauded as Middle East region's top cabling vendor

TradeArabia News Service is reporting that Nexans, a specialist in cables and cabling systems, won the ‘Cabling Vendor of the Year’ award at the 11th Network Middle East Innovation Awards 2015, recently held in Dubai, UAE.

The award recognized Nexans’ commitment to provide the latest and best in cabling solutions, key regional deployments and the highest level of expertise, customer service and support, said a statement. Tarek Helmy, regional director Gulf and Middle East, South and East Africa of Nexans, commented: “We are proud to be recognized as the ‘Cabling Vendor of the Year’, which makes this our eight major award in this region over the last three years. Nexans has successfully enabled thousands of customers to invest in future-proof, high-bandwidth networks, lower their operational costs and look to the future with confidence.

The award celebrated the achievements of networking professionals, service providers and vendors that have worked on the most challenging projects and implementations in the last 12 months. “Last year, Nexans experienced significant growth in its Middle East LAN infrastructure business as we won some large infrastructure projects in Egypt, Saudi Arabia, UAE and Jordan," added Helmy. "At Nexans we have aimed to offer the most innovative and intelligent LAN cabling solutions to our customers and this award recognises this perseverance.”

Product innovation, quality service, customer deployments and commitment to the region were the criteria set for this award category, said the report. “The belief and support that our customers and partners have shown us makes us continue to invest in R&D to bring the latest and most innovative cabling solutions to the market and we would like to thank them as they are one of the major reasons for our success," Helmy concluded. "We would also like to thank the judges and [magazine publishing group] ITP for this recognition."
