Belden offering free samples of 10GXS Category 6A cable

July 6, 2015
According to Belden, the 10GXS provides a simple design that install faster and easier than other Category 6A cable options.

Belden is offering a limited-time promotion through which it is letting users experience firsthand, for free, the difference between its 10GXS Category 6A cable and previous-generation Category 6A cable offerings. The company says its 10GXS cables “provide a simple design without compromising performance and quality, ensuring robust performance and reliable networks.”

It points to the following characteristics as evidence of the value 10GXS Category 6A cable can provide.

Simplicity and elegance in design—Smaller diameter equates to as much as 25-percent savings on space and weight; fewer twists mean easier pair separation; round structure ensures structural integrity and distance between pairs; easy-to-remove barrier tape enables faster installation.

EquiSpline design—Maintains equal distance between pairs and outer barrier along the cable to prevent noise coupling, retains air space around individual pairs, improves cable roundness, and optimize balance as well as consistent cable geometry.

EquiBlock barrier technology—Improves heat transfer and achieves uniform heat-flow dissipation; maintains low insertion loss at elevated temperatures; blocks noise coupling and electromagnetic radiation; provides an electromagnetic barrier without ground-loop concern; suppresses antenna effect.

Belden is taking requests for free samples of the 10GXS Category 6A cable, while sample quantities remain available.
