Belden announced that it now offers an extended 25-year component warranty and its Lifetime Application Assurance Program for HDBaseT cabling solutions when installed by a Belden PartnerAlliance AV Integrator.
Currently available in Canada, the United States and Latin America, the PartnerAlliance HDBaseT Warranty is the first of its kind offered in the professional AV industry, contends Belden. It ensures that the installed cabling system will be free of defects for 25 years and includes a Lifetime Application Assurance Program, which covers system performance and labor. Announcements will be coming soon about the program's availability in APAC and EMEA, added the company.
Per the company, "This innovative offering helps enterprises futureproof their infrastructure, with complete assurance that a Belden cabling system installed by a PartnerAlliance AV integrator will support today's HDBaseT applications and tomorrow's advancements to 4K - with no upgrades needed. Through training and education, Belden supports PartnerAlliance AV integrators in confidently offering this type of warranty. As an HDBaseT Alliance authorized trainer, Belden trains integrators on quality HDBaseT system configurations, installation best practices and testing, and how to 'speak' the IT language, helping bridge the gap between AV and IT as the two rapidly converge."
