Platinum Tools, a specialist in products for the preparation, installation, hand termination and testing of wire and cable, will feature its recently launched ezEX-RJ45 shielded connectors during CEDIA Expo 2018, held in San Diego from Sept. 6-8 at the San Diego Convention Center, in the company's booth #4352.

Now shipping, the ezEX-RJ45 shielded connectors feature the company's integrated Hi-Lo Stagger Load Bar and allow “big” conductors to pass through the front end of the connector, making it easy to verify the wiring sequence before terminating. The new connectors are typically used with either Category 6 or 6A cabling and are terminated using the Platinum Tools EXO Crimp Frame and EXO-EX Die (100061C) products.

“Our new shielded ezEX-RJ45 connectors are designed for larger cables and conductors,” comments Lee Sachs, Platinum Tools, Inc. president and general manager.
