Lynn Electronics (Ivyland, PA), a manufacturer of fiber-optic and copper cable assemblies founded in 1964, announced it has restructured its organization into data center/enterprise and broadband divisions.
In March 2021, Lynn Electronics acquired Total Cable Solutions (TCS), a supplier of connectivity technology for the broadband segment. To support the unique needs of both data centers and enterprises and broadband service providers, Lynn Electronics has therefore restructured its organization accordingly.
Going forward, TCS, the newest division of Lynn, will support the telecom/broadband side of the company's business.
Founded in 2009, TCS started as a small business in Springboro, Ohio and has grown to service many Fortune 500 companies. TCS manufactures a wide selection of data center and telecom cables, including IEC power cords, Cat 6 cabling, pigtails, indoor/outdoor fiber cables, FTTX enclosures, and custom builds to fit unique applications.
For its part going forward, the Lynn Electronics Datacom division will support the data center and enterprise side of the business. Lynn adds that it has built a new product and marketing team to focus on designing and supporting such network applications, and developing innovative technology to support them.
The company stated that the "efficiencies that will be realized by organizing the business on function (product/marketing) and target market (broadband and data center)" will position Lynn Electronics to better serve its clients.
"Our customer's trust has been paramount to the success of our business for many years, we are thrilled to announce this strategy which mirrors the structure of many of our customers," commented Mike Boulanger, CEO of Lynn Electronics. "While we build a stronger team, our best will continue to support you in a better organized and more strategic fashion."
