Company launches new corporate and North American websites for "a unified digital presence with enhanced navigation."
General Cable (NYSE: BGC) announced the launch of its new, re-designed global corporate and North American company websites, which may be found at www.GeneralCable.com.
“The new GeneralCable.com site provides a consistent look and feel for our customers and partners,” comments Brian Moriarty, senior vice president, Global Sales Strategy & North America Sales, for General Cable. “This launch is phase one of our plans to improve General Cable’s digital presence. We’ll continue to enhance and evolve the site at the speed of business.”
According to the company, key features of the new sites include a sleeker design for a more engaging user experience, plus intuitive navigation and improved search functionality. By navigating to www.GeneralCable.com, users will land on the company's new global corporate page, which will then direct them to the appropriate regional site based on their selected country.
If the United States or Canada is selected, the North American site now offers fast access to information about General Cable’s markets, products and solutions, career opportunities, and valuable resources in the company's Information Center. The new North American site is being launched in English, Spanish and French.
“Our [new] site is also more mobile- and tablet-friendly, which will help us to engage with our customers on their own terms, whenever and wherever they are,” concludes Moriarty.
