Multimode dry water-block cables

June 24, 2011
The Dri-Lite product line from Superior Essex now includes multimode options.

Superior Essex has added a multimode fiber cable to its Dri-Lite loose-tube cable product line. The Dri-Lite line of cables is constructed with absorbent yarns that swell on contact with water and block water's ingress.

Previously, the Dri-Lite product line included strictly singlemode fiber. Dri-Lite cables are available with fiber counts from 12 to 288, in armored and all-dielectric cable constructions.

The company also offers gel-filled loose-tube cables.
