Hitachi Cable Manchester adds sales manager, releases catalog

Jon Taylor joins the company as Midwest region sales manager; new catalog can be downloaded from HCM's website.
Hitachi Cable Manchester (HCM) recently hired Jon Taylor as regional sales manager for the Midwestern United States. Most recently Taylor was a national account manager with Berk-Tek. Taylor will manage HCM's sales representatives in the Midwestern part of the country, and he will build upon relationships with distributors, engineers and end-user organizations, the company says.
Separately, HCM released the latest version of its catalog of premises and fiber-optic cable. The company says this latest version of the catalog includes a fiber-application page that has been expanded from previous versions, and its fiber-specification section for each fiber-optic cable has been improved. The section on copper cable now includes TIA-568-C.2 values in cable-performance charts. The company says this information will enable catalog users to identify how the cables perform in comparison with standard requirements.
