'Light It Up' With Fiber Connect 2025

Feb. 21, 2025
Fiber Connect 2025 has an exciting new theme for the year as well as expanded programs and networking opportunities.

The Fiber Broadband Association recently opened registration for this year’s Fiber Connect event. Fiber Connect 2025 will take place in Nashville, TN at the Gaylord Opryland Convention Center from June 1st through 4th. The theme for 2025 is “Light It Up” which “highlights the industry’s progress in lighting the nation’s fiber optic critical broadband infrastructure that will elevate lives for generations to come.”

The conference will provide educational programs and networking opportunities for the anticipated 5,000+ fiber broadband industry attendees. The conference will also once again offer attendees the ability to earn BICSI Continuing Education Credits (CECs) by fully attending sessions and events.

Fiber Connect 2025 will have expanded educational programs such as pre-conference workshops (including workshops on fiber deployment strategies), OpTIC Path Rodeo (a competition for fiber technicians), technology deep dives (discussing things like AI in fiber networks, 5G convergence, and more). Network opportunities will be available in operator light talks, expanded lounges, and networking luncheons. As in previous years, the event will have The Exhibit Hall which showcases hands-on demonstrations, proof-of-concept pods, and other exciting discoveries.

While speakers have yet to be announced, there will be panel sessions and keynotes with general sessions that discuss things like expanding fiber’s reach and architecting for growth, a State Broadband Summit focusing on BEAD funding, economic impacts, etc., and break out tracks that go over deployment best practices, fiber economics, and much more.
