Leviton announced that it was expanding its FLX-1 polymer technology to include LANMARK-6 plenum cables. The Category 6 UTP cables have a smaller diameter construction making for simpler installation and termination for various applications from enterprise systems to intelligent building systems and more.
With this technology integrated into the cable jacket, the LANMARK-6 cable has enhanced flexibility, is easier to bend, drastically reduces cable memory, and lowers the likelihood of cable kinks, which overall makes installations easier and solves typical problems that network installers and integrators face.
“With the introduction of this technology to our LANMARK-6 plenum cables, we are providing our customers with even more options for high-performance, easy-to-install network cabling,” said Mike Good, copper cable product manager for Leviton. “This expansion demonstrates our dedication to delivering innovative solutions that enhance productivity and reduce installation time.”
The company’s FLX-1 technology is also available in Leviton’s SST Cat 6A UTP plenum cable, RDT Cat 6A UTP plenum cable, and LANMARK-1000 Cat 6 UTP plenum cable.
