Render Networks Launches New Mobile Tools for Field Execution for Fiber Deployment

Render Networks’ latest mobile capabilities aim to help field crews with deploying fiber for a variety of different broadband projects.

Render Networks recently unveiled mobile tools made to improve field execution for various types of broadband projects, such as, rural builds, backhaul, and middle-mile deployments.

The capabilities provided help construction crews adapt to field changes as they occur while still keeping accurate visibility and records spanning the whole network build.

“One of the core tenets of ADB’s digital transformation is listening to the voice of our field teams and adapting our systems to meet their needs,” said David Sharp, VP of National Standards at ADB Companies. “Render Networks’ latest mobile release reflects that same customer-centric mindset. These new capabilities allow our crews to accurately capture work as it’s completed, accelerating closeout and invoicing while improving the accuracy of our as-built network. For middle-mile projects, this flexibility is critical to documenting partial completions across long fiber spans.”

The two major mobile capabilities released include breaking down long linear tasks, including conduit installation and trenching, into smaller pieces, as well as improved offline performance. The first tool allows crews to accommodate needed splicing, capture partial completions, and align QA and billing processes with progress as it comes. The second capability provides teams in low-connectivity regions the ability to access and sync assigned tasks as well as underlying design data.

“Our customers are delivering the digital backbone for the AI era. Building infrastructure at the required speed and scale demands real-time adaptability without compromising quality,” said Stephen Rose, CEO at Render Networks. “With this new mobile functionality, our customers can better manage complexity and adapt to unforeseen challenges while keeping costs under control.”

These Tower Tech XR cooling towers use evaporative cooling to remove heat generated within the data center by IT equipment. Composite cooling towers are more compact and significantly lighter than metal towers. They arrive at a data center site pre-built.
Data center designers shouldn’t sleep on the benefits of fiberglass construction materials.
