Clearfield (NASDAQ: CLFD), a provider of fiber management products for communication service providers, on Feb. 24 announced that it is the recipient of a 2022 ACG BOLD Award, in recognition of the company’s bold achievement of record growth in FY2021, from $93.1 million to $140.8 million -- "a 51 percent year-over-year increase," as noted by a company press release.
Also noted was "the company’s strategic decision to expand manufacturing and distribution capabilities in anticipation of the massive infusion of state and federal funds designed to help close the digital divide for all Americans," referring to the recently signed-into-law Infrastructure Investment & Jobs Act (IIJA).
Now in its 10th year, the 2022 ACG Minnesota BOLD Awards were announced at the BOLD Awards Gala on February 22 at The Fillmore in Minneapolis, MN.
ACG Minnesota is a networking organization focused on growing the state's middle market through mergers and acquisitions, with its 300 local members driving those deals. ACG members are corporate leaders and trusted partner including attorneys, accountants, advisors and state capital sources.
“We are at an exciting time in our growth at Clearfield and have made the bold moves necessary to ensure we’re able to fully capitalize on the opportunity ahead,” commented Cheri Beranek, President and CEO of Clearfield.
Beranek concluded, “Fiber broadband creates tremendous opportunities for communities, network operators, businesses and people, and we look forward to helping our customers create the connections needed for everyone, everywhere to thrive.”
