Moxa Attains the World’s First Certification for Industrial Secure Routers
Moxa recently announced the world’s first IEC 62443-4-2 Security Level 2 (SL2) certification for industrial secure routers, which was awarded for its EDR-G9010 and TN-4900 Series. By achieving this certification Moxa has shown that it is a global leader in industrial networking with networking and OT cybersecurity with layered defense-in-depth protection solutions. Some of Moxa’s solutions are security-hardened devices based on the IEC 62443-4-2 cybersecurity standards, OT network segmentation with threat prevention, and tailored OT deep packet inspection (DPI) realizing industrial intrusion prevention system (IPS).
Moxa recognizes the rise of industrial cyber threats and consistently puts its products through validation processes. The EDR-G9010 Series and TN-4900 Series utilize the Moxa Router Operating System (MX-ROS), the company’s software platform for industrial security routers and firewalls.
