Precision Optical Technologies, Inc. Strategically Acquires Opticonx
Precision Optical Technologies, Inc (Precision OT) recently acquired Opticonx. The move is made to build up Precision OT’s ranking in the optical networking market as well as enhance its product portfolio for a broader range of applications.
Opticonx is a U.S. manufacturer of standard and custom fiber optic cabling parts and systems. The company manufactures standard and complex fiber optic cable, cable assemblies, connectivity solutions, and furcation tubing. While Precision OT is a systems integration company that focuses on end-to-end optical networking solutions, product development advancements, and network design services.
David Halladay, the President & CEO of Precision Optical Technologies, Inc. commented on the event stating, “The acquisition of Opticonx marks a major milestone in our company’s history. This well thought out decision joins the two organizations who not only have shared values, but also a common commitment to supporting broadband connectivity across the globe. The acquisition was finalized last week and the companies are currently working on integrating with one and other.
