Siemens’ Company Enlighted Expands Building Functionality With AI Capabilities

Nov. 1, 2023
Siemen’s new AI integration could prove to be beneficial for many different companies.

This new use of AI helps workers and businesses

Enlighted has launched an additional use of its Location Services solution as well as included two new partners in the Enlighted AI partner system. Enlighted’s Location Services, Real Time Location System (RTLS, uses Bluetooth-enabled lighting control sensors to track the location and movement of assets and badges in buildings.

By introducing AI to RTLS, the accuracy of finding these assets and badges is improved to over 98% which aids businesses in their operations and inventory. The AI capabilities include an AI-driven app which allows workers to control the temperature in their workplace.

Two new AI partners

According to a Siemen’s press release, “Enlighted has also expanded its partner ecosystem with participants who bring AI applications, machine-learning tools and platforms that extend the value from vast volumes of Enlighted time-series IoT building data.”

Tagnos, a healthcare solutions provider, will be utilizing the new AI technology as part of its Healthcare Orchestration Platform to help with patient care and tracking asset workflows in hospitals.

Zan Compute, a smart building systems provider, will be using Enlighted’s occupancy data and the company’s own AI analytics to guide necessary cleaning activity, lower building cleaning costs, and improve occupants’ experiences.
