Time-saving BNC connector for coaxial cable

Telecom & Security USA will stock the patented T&S CaP System connectors, which have been used in Europe for over 10 years.

Telecom & Security (Italy) announced the launch of its North American affiliate, Telecom & Security USA. The new venture will stock the patented T&S CaP System connectors, which have been used in Europe for over 10 years.

According to the company, these BNC connectors are designed with one contact point, yielding reduced signal loss compared to the three point connection of the traditional design screw or crimp connector. With the connectors, cable termination time is greatly reduced, saving installation labor, and the connection pressure is always uniform, saving troubleshooting time. The connectors are color-coded for easy identification.

The patented CaP pressure connectors are an interchangeable system. The same connector can be used for cable diameters from 2mm (.070″- RG178) to 8mm (.335″ – RG6), including the common RG59. The re-usable BNC connectors come in 3 grades, but all are installed using the same simple tool and process. In less than 30 seconds, a technician can slit, twist, peel, and squeeze the connector onto a cable.

There are 17 different connector types for most installation needs, including male and female of BNC, F, RCA, and more. Users match the quality (standard analog, HD, and broadcast) of their camera, cable, and connector to the application and resolution.
