Adder Technology, a supplier of IP-based KVM connectivity products, recently unveiled its new AdderLink DV100 HDMI and DV120 DVI extenders at the Digital Signage Expo (Feb. 11-12) in Las Vegas. The new products were unveiled in the booth of digital signage systems supplier Scala.
“Today’s digital signage providers need assured DVI and HDMI extension that deliver pixel perfect HD-quality digital content," commented Tim Conway, Adder's vice president. "Our new line is designed to meet this need with remote control and monitoring up to 150 feet distance from the source.”
The new AdderLink DV104 features Adder’s proprietary Proof of Display (P.O.D.) technology that provides 4 outputs, and enables remote monitoring of all screens within a signage network over an IP link. According to the company, this in turn allows network managers to bill advertisers with the assurance that their content has been displayed. Digital signage can be turned off or on remotely and can be powered directly from the network.
"Adder brings unique capabilities to Scala's digital communication system," concluded Harry Horn, Scala vice president of marketing. "The addition of the AdderLink HDMI extender and splitter provides rock-solid dependability, failover option and proof of display software, which delivers the highest-quality digital video signage."
