Transtector has recently launched a new 18U outdoor floor cabinet for standard EIA 19-inch-wide components. Featuring a built-in cooling system with an automatic temperature control, the floor cabinet is also IP66-rated ensuring the insides are protected from dust, water, and more. With its depth it fits most components while remaining compact enough to be unobtrusive outdoors or in IT closets or small rooms.
Transtector’s new cabinet is best suited for wireless networks, CCTV, broadband, traffic control, and telecommunications.
This floor-standing cabinet is made of heavy-duty, 14-gauge cold-rolled steel and holds a maximum of 220 pounds of equipment with its features having a white finish. On top of the cabinet’s IP66 rating, the cabinet’s insides are also safe from heat build-up due to the built-in 120 VAC, 10-amp fans with temperature control that allow flow-through ventilation which limits network slowdowns caused from overheating.
The cabinet has an adjustable rack depth range of 6 inches to 24 inches with gear being mounted with M6 screws and cage nuts. It comes pre-assembled and has key locks for security.
