Antaira’s DIN-Rail Clips Help Prevent Damage to Network in High-Vibration Spaces

Antaira’s new DIN-Rail Clips will now be provided with most Antaira devices, replacing the current clips.

Antaira Technologies has gone beyond traditional mount designs with its new DIN-Rail clip, which leads to a more secure attachment for its Ethernet switches and routers onto any 35mm metal rail. These new clips will replace the standard clips that come with many Antaira devices. “Once installed, the clip's coil spring-loaded latch enables easy snap-on attachment of the Antaira device to a rail, plus allows it to be removed rail just by lifting and releasing the clasp.”

The new DIN-Rail clips make it easy to mount and remove Antaira switches and routers while also greatly improving the security of connections to the rail. Stability is imperative in environments that expose network devices to long periods of or extreme vibrations like there are in off-road vehicles, mining operations, and on factory floors if the device is near pumps, motor drives, conveyors, or other heavy machinery. If the vibrations are severe enough, they can knock a network device out of service and stop plant production.
