The Cascade Panel from Amphenol Network Solutions is “a high-density fiber connectivity solution for data center, central office, and headend applications,” the company said when announcing the product that debuts at OFC 2025 in late March.
The panel accommodates 96 LC connections in a single 1RU chassis. The sliding tray mechanism enhances accessibility, allowing technicians to perform moves/adds/changes easily, the company emphasizes.
It also is available in a model that accommodates SN and MDC very small form factor (VSFF) connector families.
Its four fiber-routing clips enhance cable management, and the panel is optimized for high-density environments particularly including data centers and telecommunications facilities.
“The Cascade Panel was built to address the needs of high-density fiber networks while prioritizing ease of access,” said Amphenol Network Solutions’ senior product manager Harley McAllister. “With its sliding tray design, VSFF option, and flexible routing options, it streamlines fiber management for technicians working in tight spaces.”
Harley describes the panel in greater detail and demonstrates its features in the video below.
Amphenol characterizes the panel as “an essential addition for operators looking to enhance network reliability and simplify fiber connectivity management.”
