1. Copper-clad aluminum cable passed off as legitimate

Back in February, someone bought this stuff thinking it was real Cat 5e and installed it. The install didn't go so well.

This incident makes the list for a couple reasons. 1) Several more incidents of copper-clad aluminum cable popped up since then, signifying a disturbing trend. 2) Check out the box. What brand of cable would you say this is? I'd call it Generic. White box, black letters. Says "Cable." Like that beer from back in the day. (The days long before I could legally drink beer, that is.)
