CommScope launches Chinese-language website

April 23, 2014
The company notes that it has had a significant presence in China for more than 20 years.

Building off of a successful global website platform re-design and launch last September, CommScope has now introduced a Chinese-language version of the site (zh.commscope.com), tailored for the company's many customers and stakeholders in China.

The communications infrastructure specialist notes that it has had a significant presence in China for more than 20 years. Today, CommScope has approximately 4,900 employees at multiple manufacturing, distribution, sales, research and administrative facilities in Suzhou, Shanghai, Guongzhou, Beijing and Hong Kong, to serve customers with network infrastructure solutions for wireless and business enterprise applications.

“Our new Chinese-language website provides our customers in this market with local information and case studies, giving them rapid access to CommScope’s many innovative technologies and solutions,” comments Laura Chen, regional sales director, Greater China, Enterprise, CommScope. “We believe this website will play a key role in expanding the quality of information available to customers, and deepening our relationship with people and businesses in China.”

CommScope says the new site's intuitive navigation focuses on time-saving features and informative content. Advanced search filters help visitors navigate through the “one stop, one topic” web pages, putting simple, easy-to-read industry information and supporting content at one’s fingertips. If visitors cannot find what they are searching for on the new website, there is “contact us” link on every page, providing customer support email and phone numbers, and easy access to CommScope's entire global PartnerPRO network.

The site's streamlined product catalog highlights CommScope’s portfolio of infrastructure products across three categories: broadband, enterprise and wireless. Its simple layout allows customers to view all product lines related to any of its branded solutions. The site also compares products and specifications on the same page. A “My Projects” page enables customers to save the specifications they have gathered and request a quote. Finally, CommScope notes that, as a company, it has fully embraced the trend toward mobile; as such, the new website uses a reactive mobile design, ensuring a positive user experience no matter what device is used to view the site.

“With a long-standing presence in China, we trust that the launch of this website will further our identity here and the role we play in helping customers address the ongoing need for network bandwidth,” concludes Chinnee M. Tong, vice president, Wireless Sales, China, CommScope. “The website brings more of CommScope’s cutting-edge technologies and experiences to its customers in the Chinese market.”
