FNT Software and DCVUE, LLC Launch IT Asset Management Solution For Data Center Operators
FNT Software has worked with DCVUE, LLC to make IT asset management easier for customers in the data center sector. FNT Command and FNT StagingArea now integrate into DCVUE’s IT asset management software, dcVue, allowing users to correctly identify IT assets and their locations within a data center.
FNT Command gives a complete overview of all regions of IT infrastructures and “provides intelligent reporting”. FNT StagingArea exchanges, compares, and imports a large quantity of heterogeneously structured data. dcVue is used to verify assets within data centers, and conveniently includes associated Android-based mobile devices. As soon as a full picture of a company’s data center assets and their location is modeled through FNT Command, the system can be used for a variety of purposes, from auditing and monitoring, to recording asset movements and changes from the inventory.
By integrating dcVue, FNT aids operators in obtaining accurate asset information, lower downtime for maintenance and repairs, optimized planning of equipment purchases and expansions, and a simple software user interface.
“We’re proud to deliver greater value to our customers through our integration between FNT Command and dcVue,” said Steve MacDiarmid, Executive Managing Director at FNT Software. “Together, we’re providing operators with a holistic, transparent, and up-to-date overview of all asset data and helping them to save time and money by automating asset management processes.”
“Our priority is to provide an easy-to-use secure solution that data center operators can use for various IT asset management processes,” said Joe Coschera, Manager Hardware Asset Management Solutions at DCVUE. “The integration with FNT Command further enhances the functionality and useability of dcVue.”
