Data Center Systems (DCS) announced that it has signed an agreement to become an Open Architecture Systems Interconnection Solutions (OASIS) Connectivity Partner with Berk-Tek, a Nexans company. With the alliance, DCS will continue to provide connectivity products for data centers and now also offers a complete solution warranty from 15-25 years.

“Becoming a Berk-Tek OASIS Connectivity Partner is a significant milestone in our mission to become the leading provider of structured connectivity solutions within the data center," comments Kevin Ehringer, founder and CTO of DCS. "Over the last several years, Berk-Tek has been our primary fiber cable provider for the connectivity solutions we offer our customers. This agreement takes our relationship with Berk-Tek, as well as our solutions, to the next level.”

Berk-Tek’s OASIS program is designed specifically to address component compatibility and deliver guaranteed total system performance. With the program, Berk-Tek says it has eliminated the confusion commonly associated with anticipating emerging technologies and standards.

As an OASIS Connectivity Partner, DCS has been qualified and selected based on its proven technologies as well as its system design and support capabilities. These solutions have been developed through extensive research and testing, note the companies.

“Berk-Tek continually strives to establish partnerships with industry leading companies that can bring value to our mutual customers. DCS offers innovative products and solutions specific to storage environments within the data center,” concludes Todd Harpel, RCDD, director of marketing at Berk-Tek.
