In a recent press release, FNT has introduced a rack-based pricing model for its Data Center Infrastructure Management (DCIM) software, available only in the U.S. The new model aligns pricing with the number of racks used by a data center.

“At FNT, we believe DCIM pricing should reflect the value customers receive,” said Steve MacDiarmid, Executive Managing Director at FNT Americas. “This rack-based model provides our customers with greater flexibility and cost predictability. By giving customers the freedom to scale their licenses and add capabilities at their own pace.”

FNT offers three subscription tiers: DCIM Visibility Core for basic rack-level visibility, DCIM Capacity Core expands management to power, cabling, and capacity planning, and DCIM Opitimization Suite includes modular add-ons, advanced integrations, and improved automation features and is particularly suitable for complex data center environments.

Modular add-ons include monitoring climate and power, managing network connectivity, and virtualization infrastructure. Each plan aims to be scalable and allow customers to grow and add more features as needed while ensuring they have the predictability of a set budget each month.
