BICSI and the National Electrical Contractors Association (NECA) will host a three-day learning event in San Antonio, TX May 23-25. The NECA BICSI Summit will “address the growing needs of the low-voltage and technology communities,” the two associations said.
Available only to NECA and BICSI members, the summit is intended for company owner/operators, construction superintendents, project managers, safety managers, and division managers. It will be held at the JW Marriott San Antonio Hill Country Resort and Spa.
Each of the three days will include a general session as well as breakouts, and a trade show/reception. A detailed agenda is being constructed. BICSI and NECA said agenda topics will include Power over Ethernet, intelligent buildings, distributed antenna systems, fiber-to-the-x, bonding and grounding, testing and troubleshooting, cable management, and other technical topics.
The summit will include the following featured speakers: Futurist Daniel Burrus, NECA Vice President Lt. Gen. Ronald Bailey, and national security specialist Dr. Robert Spalding.
