Fremco Blowing Machines opens U.S. operation

June 24, 2022
A subsidiary of Fremco A/S, Fremco Blowing Machines began operating in the U.S. June 1, providing fiber-blowing equipment for FTTH, ISP, campus, and short- and long-haul deployments.

As of June 1, Fremco Fiber Blowing Machines Inc. is a subsidiary of Fremco A/S, operating in the United States. This U.S.-based operation allows the company to create local opportunities in the United States for its fiber-blowing technologies.

According to Morten Ringkjøbing, vice president of sales and marketing for Fremco A/S, the company’s established presence in the U.S. provides local knowledge and availability for U.S. customers. “We have chosen to establish a subsidiary in the U.S., as we believe in local presence and understand how important it is to be in the same time zone. With the new subsidiary, we can now offer local service, support, quality, and greater uptime with the investment of the Fremco fiber blowing machines in the U.S.”

“Fremco Fiber Blowing Machines will offer the same quality fiber blowing machines, with the customer as a number-one priority, within FTTH, ISP, campus, and short- and long-haul fiber deployment,” the company said.

With stock available in the U.S., Fremco boasts short delivery times to its customers.

Keith I. Smith, RCDD, INSTF, INSTC, TECH is general manager of the United States operation.

“My primary goal is to expose the Fremco product line to all the U.S. and Canada key installers and specifiers,” Smith said. “The next key goal is to create the Fremco Service Center at our office in Tucker, Georgia.”

Fremco Blowing Machines equipment will be distributed through Jameson LLC; the two companies are working together to provide customers with local factory support, service, and fast shipping.
