BICSI announced that it will be offering a new 3-part Virtual Instructor-Led Training (vILT) online course worth (6) Continuing Education Credits (CECs) for attendees. Entitled “Bonding & Grounding: Best Practices for ICT,” the course will be presented by Kevin Seeley, RCDD, RTPM, TECH, CT and will be held in three sessions on February 27, March 6 and March 13, 2023, from 10 a.m. – 12 p.m. Eastern Time for each session. Participants must attend all three sessions and complete any required discussions and activities to earn the six CECs.
Per BICSI, in this online workshop, attendees will be provided with skill-building activities for designing and installing bonding and grounding equipment within commercial buildings and campuses, using BICSI best practices. At the completion of this workshop, attendees should be able to:
- Determine the types of bonding and grounding systems required for a campus.
- Design the bonding and grounding components for the facility (building/campus).
- Identify the best practices for installing bonding and grounding systems.
- Identify the steps for testing the bonding and grounding connections.
Covering the many requirements for bonding and grounding in codes and standards, and the course is designed for anyone who is looking to gain a specialized skill set in an essential component of infrastructure design. Students will need to an internet connection, an internet-enabled device, and access to Zoom. BICSI Training Delivery Specialist Kevin Seeley, RCDD, RTPM, TECH, CT, will offer a wealth of ICT field experience and wisdom from a career that spans more than three decades in the ICT industry. With BICSI since April 2014, Seeley has a passion for sharing knowledge and continues to assist students as a Training Delivery Specialist for both Design and Installation classes at BICSI. Kevin also serves as an SME (Subject Matter Expert) for many of BICSI’s programs.
