FORC offering refurbished, pre-owned fiber-optic equipment

FiberOptic Resale Corp. (FORC - Nashua, NH) announced that it is now selling refurbished fiber-optic equipment, including fusion splicers, "at deep discounts." The company says it provides "pre-owned and refurbished fusion splicers, fiber-optic cleavers, OTDRs and more at a cost savings between 40% and 80% off new fiber-optic equipment." All equipment is fully tested and warrantied by FORC.

"A growing number of companies including communications service providers and fiber contractors are finding their budgets stretched to the max while demand and performance continue to skyrocket," says a press release by the company. "To alleviate the financial stress companies face, FORC is offering pre-owned and refurbished fiber-optic equipment at deep discounts. Buying refurbished fiber-optic equipment is a smart way to expand your budget and stretch capex."

Refurbished fiber-optic equipment available from FORC includes fusion splicers, cleaver OTDRs and more, from manufacturers such as INNO Instrument, Yokogawa, Anritsu, Sumitomo, Fitel and Ericsson. Related services offered by FORC include: fusion splicer, OTDR and cleaver rentals; trade-in and trade-up programs where the value of older equipment is applied toward the purchase of new fiber-optic equipment; and equipment financing.

All products procured by FORC are checked for channel compliance through the respective manufacturers; service can be provided by FORC’s service center, or clients can use the original manufacturer’s services if they choose. All equipment has been inspected and tested in FORC's in-house lab, and includes a warranty from the company.
