British Royal Family Posts Video of Buckingham Palace Recabling Project

The Reservicing Programme includes replacing electrical cables in the palace’s basement. The video shows installers ‘in the trenches’ pulling the cable.
The British Royal Family recently posted to its X account a video depicting the electrical recabling project taking place at Buckingham Palace. The 48-second video includes captions describing the purpose of the Reservicing Programme, statistics about the amount and weight of cables being installed, and acknowledgements that the installation crew is working in some less-than-pristine environments in the palace’s basement.
We’re holding out hope that next we’ll see some video of a fiber-optic or twisted-pair copper cable installation in the future home of King Charles III.
