Fiber raceway system offers plenty of options

Expedited lead times, engineer-led tech support and additional colors are recent improvements to Leviton's Fiber Raceway System.

New colors, increased technical support and faster lead times are the major improvements recently made to Leviton's Fiber Raceway System. The adaptable cable-management system routes, protects and stores fiber.

Leviton says the improvements allow users to tailor the system to their individual needs and applications. The raceway system is now available in yellow, orange and black as standard colors, while gray is available by special order. Lead times are now shorter as well. And the company also has made experienced engineers available for technical support, to help users incorporate the system into their complex networks.

Stencils of the components in Visio as well as application notes are available at Leviton's Web site.

The system incorporates multiple components including ducting, drop-off kits, reducers, storage loops, mounting hardware and other gear. The components snap together, simplifying installation and maintenance, the company says. Standard sizes are 2x2, 4x4, 4x8 and 4x12. 2x4 and 2x8 components are available by special order.
